Billing Summary
As described in our
Billing Overview article, when you purchase a billing plan, you are purchasing a minimum number of leads in your monthly billing period.
Any lead count over and above the minimum purchased via your subscription plan are billed for at the end of the billing period.
NEW: You'll now be able to go 5 leads over your plan in a given month before we’ll bill for any additional leads over the plan. Just to account for any test leads and to give you the benefit of the doubt in your billing.
Using The Call Report To Know Where You Stand With Billing
Your call report makes it easy to determine how many leads have accumulated toward your billing plan at any given time.
All call reports will have a column called "MKey" which can be hidden or unhidden from the top left section of your report.
Unhide column on the left to reveal the "MKey" on the right
MKey Column
The "M" in Mkey is short for Month and appears with a number next to it. The number represents the monthly billing period for which that lead is counting against you plan - M1 (stands for Month 1), M2 (stands for Month 2), M3 (stands for Month 3) and so on.
For example, in your 1st month of your subscription plan, all of your leads will have M1 in the Mkey Column.
By counting the total number of M1 leads, you can determine the total number of leads that have accumulated toward your first month's lead count.
Mkey Example
Let's say you've purchased a 100 lead minimum plan, and it's your 1st month of service. This hypothetical plan has a cost per lead of $8.
Since it's your 1st month of service, all of your leads will have M1 in the report. Let's say that by the end of the month you've accumulated 500 leads.
In this case, at the end of the 1st billing period, you will be billed for 400 leads (the amount over-and-above the minimum you've already paid) at the plan cost per lead of $8 per lead.
Unless you cancel via our billing portal, your card on file will be billed $3,200 ($8 * 400) plus $500 for the next month's subscription.
If you cancel your plan prior to the recur date, you will be billed just the $3,200 that is owed for the prior month's leads.
Lastly, once you are in the 2nd month, new leads that are sent in and called will appear in your report with an M2 value in the Mkey column.
Filtering your report
Our call report is built on top of
Airtable and makes it easy to sort, filter and group your leads. Filtering is especially useful in the billing context.
In the top left corner, click on Filter -> Mkey.
From there you can set the Mkey to filter on M1 to view Month 1's leads. Putting M2 will show Month 2's billable leads. And so on.
